Set of 3 Utensils Including Asparagus Tongs and Cheese Spoon

One of my favorite things to have are asparagus tongs! Here is a silver-plated set by Burton made in the early 20th century. These are awesome! Substantial and perfect for serving, measuring 10" long. Asparagus tongs were a popular tool in the Victorian era, designed to elegantly serve delicate asparagus spears without damaging them, reflecting the era's attention to dining etiquette and presentation. The second piece is a cheese spoon used to scoop soft cheese. How delicious! It features a wooden handle and a delicate ferule with floral motifs. Some wear to the silverplate. Measuring 11" long, these became popular in the 19th century as part of elaborate cheese courses in formal dining settings. The third is an English marrow spoon, 9.5" long.
