Ornate Antique Repousse Quadroupleplate Tureen By Poole

Wow! Here is a statement piece! A very large repousse server or tureen made by the esteemed brand, Poole, in the late 1800's - early 1900's. Repousse is when the design is hammered from behind. It is quadroupleplate, an indication of its age, it is coated in 4 coats of sterling silver. This piece features an ornate handle on top as well as the two handles on the sides, giving it a very stately appearance. You will love the gleaming silver on this!
