Middletown Silver Quadroupleplate Tureen

Middletown Silver operated between 1899 - 1910, dating this tureen back to the early 1900's. This is a quadroupleplate tureen, which means that it was covered in four coats of sterling silver. The legs on this tureen are so ornate and stately! The graceful handles adorn each side, and a finial sits on top of the lid. It is engraved with a "k" on one side. There is some wear to the silver in some places (see photos) as well as some tarnish. It is 9" tall x 12" wide. (In the picture of the two, it is the one on the right. Other tureen sold separately)
