This is quadrouplate plate which is an indication of its age as well as the fact that it means it was coated in 4 layers of silver! Look how the silver handle is folded over, allowing your thumb to rest comfortably. The scroll designs on this are just fabulous! The scrolls bloom with acanthus leaves and even a bird! This sits on three bun feet. The table crumb sweeper with catcher is the perfect companion for keeping your table clean in Downton Abbey style!  This comes with a horse hair brush with a wooden handle. 10" x 7.75" Excellent antique condition.
