Very Rare Antique Daffodil Champagne Bucket from the 1800's

The history of silver plate companies in the United States is very interesting.  Wilcox Silver company was started in 1865 as one of the original Meridan Connecticut Companies.  Over many years the name changed but this piece bears the original hallmark from the mid to late 1800's. This is an amazing piece with a very unusual repousse  multi stemmed daffodils adorning the piece. (Repousee is a special technique where the design is hammered from the back.)Notice the scalloped top edge with almost free form trim, the scalloped base with a wave like design and the large ornate double handles.   9” tall x 10” wide. There is one small mark  on one side. (See photos) Monogram on one side and a light dent under monogram. Otherwise excellent antique condition. Fabulous piece!
