Antique Repousse Flower Bowl

Here is a  silver plated flower bowl that matches the antique flower basket.  It's hard to notice but this bowl probably had a handle at one point.  Like the matching basket, it has a beautiful central flower which is striking!  Each molded petal is etched with a dogwood like flower design.  The piece is repousse, the special antique craftsmanship whereby the silver is hammered from the back to make the design.  This antique (most likely at least 150 years old ) is a special centerpiece that will make a collectable heirloom or matching piece to the other basket I have.  9.5 x 2.5 Excellent antique condition.
